Biography
- Margo Burian
- I have been working as a freelance illustrator since graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design with a BFA in 1992. My commercial career has included projects for many national and regional clients; American Greetings, Mc-Graw Hill Publishing, Booth Newspapers, North Star Teacher Resources, to name a few. The crossover from illustrator to fine artist seems to be a natural one for me. Much of my mispent youth was spent in Northern Michigan, where I developed a love for the serenity and beauty of the woods and the "Big Lake". Time and time again, I find I am still drawn to those places. I have exhibited work in galleries in Traverse City, Harbor Springs and Grand Rapids, MI.

I really love the coolness of the painting, Margo. It makes me want to visit this place, since there really isn't any clear water near me. It must have been a really nice view for you to paint. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see more!

Thanks for looking Lina! This particular dock is in Cross Village, MI. A beautiful spot especially when we've had 90 degree temps!
