Yes its true. I have a hard time resisting a good cat picture. Who doesn't enjoy a cat picture every once in a while? Just as long as it doesn't become a problem.
Just for the record......I do not do pet portraits.
I have been working as a freelance illustrator since graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design with a BFA in 1992. My commercial career has included projects for many national and regional clients; American Greetings, Mc-Graw Hill Publishing, Booth Newspapers, North Star Teacher Resources, to name a few.
The crossover from illustrator to fine artist seems to be a natural one for me. Much of my mispent youth was spent in Northern Michigan, where I developed a love for the serenity and beauty of the woods and the "Big Lake". Time and time again, I find I am still drawn to those places. I have exhibited work in galleries in Traverse City, Harbor Springs and Grand Rapids, MI.

I'm one step away from holding an intervention.....
He really does look a little evil in this picture, though. Yikes.
